CINCU Social Media Takeover

    Hi, my name is Cayla, and I spend a lot of time on my phone. Feels good to get that off my chest! There are just so many new apps and services to check out, and I want to stay up to date with my friends and family as they celebrate milestones and share photos on social media.

    Last week, I had the opportunity to combine two of the things I love – social media and CINC University. I’m a Certified CINC Trainer, and I started thinking – I know all about CINCU, but I bet there are a lot of people out there that don’t! If you’re one of them, CINCU is our flagship live training program, with three days packed full of valuable knowledge all about the CINC platform and scripting/conversion. If you were following the @cincpro (link) Instagram account last week, you’d already know that, because I headed up a CINCU Instagram Takeover, showing followers all the behind-the-scenes peeks and live looks at our May course in Atlanta.

    I’ve put together some of my highlights from the Takeover and included some social media tips that you can use as you market your business, too!

    Power Hour Winner

    On Day 3 of CINCU, CINC Conversion Specialist, John Marrone, takes students through the proven CINC Script and leads exercises practicing the opening line, handling objections, and closing for the appointment. Then we host Power Hour, where you put that all into practice and call your leads and set real appointments for buyers and sellers consultations! At the end of the day, we celebrate our Power Hour winner – the agent with the most appointments set - and add them to the Call of Fame.

    This month’s winner was Hollie Vires from North Carolina who set four appointments! She shared that her goal was to take her daughter on an African safari, and she was now only two appointments away from making that dream a reality!

    Social Media Tip: celebrate your team's wins on your social media accounts. You can quickly and easily create free graphics sized for the correct platform on Canva or consider having your agents make a video to post as well. You can celebrate any number of things, like newly licensed agents and their first closing, milestone closings (10th, 50th, 100th, etc), general appreciation for hard work/reaching goals, volunteer shoutouts – the sky’s the limit!

    Live Texting Demo

    One thing I love about CINCU is that it’s taught by real brokers and team leaders who use CINC in their business. One of our trainers, Matt Feathers (an Operations Manager at Nashville Advantage Real Estate Advisors) led students in a live mass texting demo during Day 2, sharing his favorite ways to filter, message, and reply to real leads in his platform. He actually set an appointment on the spot using this preferred method!

     

    Social Media Tip: don’t be afraid to show your team’s culture online! Core values are so important to teams, and if one of yours is for your agents to have fun, let your followers see that. Show your team gatherings, record something funny during meetings, and day-to-day office life. Your followers will see that your team has personality, and we all know how much knowing, liking, and trusting your agent is to building rapport!

    Networking

    A lot of us have been spending more time at home than ever this past year. For me, one of the highlights of this CINCU was meeting CINC clients, learning about their business, and seeing their network expand their connections all across the United States. Not only can you exchange information for referrals, but you can also ask questions of other brokers and agents and learn about the way they do things in their own businesses. Seeing the lightbulb of “Ah-ha! So that’s how I do that,” whether it’s something you learned from a trainer or a fellow student, is one of the best things ever!

     

    Social Media Tip: don’t be afraid of video! Your followers will value authenticity over perfection. And it’s just like calling your leads – the more you do it, the easier it becomes. An engaging profile has a variety of content – still photos, videos, infographics (like charts and data), and graphics (a combination of artwork and text to illustrate). Video is powerful, though, so don’t let it scare you!
